Emi Sakurai

Emi Sakurai is a contemporary artist based in Yokosuka, Japan. Her work reflects harmony, transformation, and the soul’s light, exploring the deep connection between the inner world and the surrounding universe.

Working primarily with acrylic, oil, and mixed media, she often incorporates texture paste, natural materials, and gold leaf to create depth and a sense of movement. Through her art, Emi seeks to awaken emotions, bring beauty into everyday life, and inspire reflection.

In 2024, she held a solo exhibition at the Yokohama Civic Art Gallery, where her distinctive style received high recognition.
Her upcoming participation includes the 2025 Tokyo exhibition at The National Art Center, highlighting her continuous artistic growth and dedication to contemporary expression.
