Emily Keating Snyder

Emily Keating Snyder is a Los Angeles artist working in abstract painting and minimalist embroidery. Her work brings craft into the context of fine art by literally stitching thread into artist’s canvas. Each piece balances rigidity with looseness, as spontaneous brushstrokes come together with intentional embroidered lines. Emily graduated from New York University in 2009. Her art has been featured by SF Girl By Bay, designlovefest, Parachute Home and Architectural Digest's Clever.
