Emily Moores

I’m Emily, an installation and mixed media artist. I create artwork using playful patterns and colors. I am inspired by everyday objects, like wallpaper, decorative china and playgrounds. With overstimulation from screens and a fast-paced accomplishment culture, color, textures, and patterns can reconnect people with the physical world.

I have been exhibiting my art for over 10 years, and I was selected as one of the Women to Watch 2020 by the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery. My work has been exhibited at the Akron Art Museum (OH), Artly Mix (Brazil), the Contemporary Arts Center (OH), the Ruffin Gallery (VA), and the Edward A. Whitney Gallery at Sheridan College (WY).
