Minay Davaz

Minay is a visual artist working in layered paper relief and mixed media. Her work transforms paper into a sculptural surface through hand-cut layering, creating depth, shadow, and dimensional imagery.

Rather than focusing on a single subject, her work explores a range of themes including architecture, nostalgic scenes, and narrative compositions. These varied subjects are unified through a consistent process of building images layer by layer, giving each piece a tactile and architectural presence.

Influenced by historical forms, everyday moments, and decorative structures, her work invites viewers to slow down and observe detail, texture, and space. Light and shadow interact with the layered surfaces, allowing the artwork to subtly change depending on perspective.

Each piece is carefully constructed by hand, making every work a unique dimensional composition.
