Rolana Rudermane

Was born and raised in Latvia, in Riga. Riga is known for its unique sights and attractions, especially the old part of the city- a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the historical center abundant in Art Nouveau objects and constructions. Being in the magical atmosphere of this amazing city, I have been fond of painting since early childhood. I was a regular at the art studios and private workshops of famous Latvian and European artists. I was fortunate enough to learn from amazing famous painters with different views, techniques and beliefs. Having combined all the acquired knowledge and skills into my individual vision and manner of painting, I try to share it with others.
Now I live in Jurmala, by the sea, and am inspired by incredible sunrises and sunsets, waves and breezes, dunes and pines.
Art should only bring positive emotions and joyful mood. "How beautiful this world is - look!”. Look at life with gratitude the way I look at it.
