On a cold Russian February night, Slava Braginsky was born in the city of Birobidzhan, to a hospital chief nurse and a WW2 veteran.
His artistic talent was noticed from a young age as he was allways intrested in arts and crafts. In order to help him achieve his goal of becoming an artist his parents sent young Slava to an arts high school to hone his craft. After graduating, his passion to arts grew even more, he knew beyond any doubt that he will be an artist. His next step in achieving his dream was to move to the city Vladivostok where he attended and graduated the city's Arts College. Soon after graduating, Slava continued to pursue his passion and went to Vladivostok Institute of Arts, which he graduated with distinction.
At the late age of 24, Slava was drafted to the army for two years, a draft which he postponed in order to complete his education. In 1981, he returned to his hometown Birobidzhan. After a quick re-acclimation slava wasted no time and started taking an active part in the city's art life, displaying his work in local exhibitions. Attention from art dealers and enthusiasts was not late to come and Slava was invited to showacse his art in regional and nationwide exhibitions.
