Elena Ushanova

My passion for drawing and painting started at a very early age. As a child I was more engaged with drawing than with playing. It was a logical step to learn more about my passion, so I studied at the Surikov Academic Institute of Art in Moscow where I was educated about fine art.
I am inspired by the world around me, and especially people and animals. I paint emotions, texture, color and it make me happy.
I like realism and I use oil in my painting. I have a seres of paintings with pastel, but the most beloved material remains oil. Also, I like to use decorative elements in my artwork.
It is very important for me to touch the hearts of the audience with my art. My artwork are a part of me, and I am always very happy when they go to a new home.
