Riffat Mujeeb

Riffat Mujeeb was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. Her passion for drawing and painting started at a very young age. Her journey as an artist began when she won the first prize in a drawing competition at the age of six. She has worked with different mediums but oil on canvas is her favorite. She focuses on landscapes as a primary motif.

Nature is a source of inspiration for her. She is fascinated by masterpieces such as majestic peaks, exquisite meadows, mesmerizing waterways, dense forests, sparkling streams, blooming flowers, crimson, and amber-tinted tumultuous clouds, etc. These fuel her passion for painting. She tries to capture the essence of a scene with the help of different colors and textures.

Her work is a constant search for the best way to portray the beauty of landscape.
Each piece she creates is a reflection of her artistic exploration of our natural world. Her art is an expression of rich colors, positivity, warmth, and tranquility. Her work rests somewhere between realism and impressionism. Hope you enjoy looking through her artwork page.

Riffat is predominantly self-taught in art but later completed diploma in Drawing and Painting from Karachi School of Art in 2016.

She completed some courses in Fine Arts from ZVMG RangoonWala Community Center, Karachi, under the mentorship of the renowned Pakistani artist Sir Hanif Shahzad.

She has showcased her artwork in various group exhibitions in Karachi, Pakistan.

Her work was featured at Karachi School of Arts in 2016.

She took part in a group exhibition at Regent Plaza in 2017.

She exhibited her work in a group show at Studio Seven Gallery in 2019.
