Charles Vinson, widely recognized as the Blind Artist, is a visionary painter whose work transcends physical sight to capture emotional and spiritual depth on canvas. Born with an innate sense of creativity, Charles began painting at the young age of 9. Over the years, he explored a wide range of artistic mediums before ultimately finding his voice through acrylics and watercolor.
In 2003, Charles made the life-changing decision to pursue art professionally. His work—often a blend of abstract expressionism, surrealism, seascapes, landscapes, and satirical narratives—reflects both his inner world and the vibrant inspirations that surround him. Every piece tells a story, often merging personal symbolism with universal themes that evoke reflection, emotion, and dialogue.
