Adrian Dică's artistic practice encompasses painting, installation, and performance, distinguished by his use of diverse materials and techniques, including oil, acrylic, water-based stains, industrial paint, and pigments. His work frequently explores the juxtaposition of contrasting elements, such as the color pink against industrial ruins, to delve into the complexities and paradoxes of life.
Dică has exhibited extensively, both in solo and group exhibitions, across Romania, the UK, and Europe. Notable exhibitions include the Summer Exhibition 2024 at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the London Art Biennale 2023. He has also presented several retrospectives at prestigious venues such as the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest and Mogosoaia Palace, including two duo exhibitions with Laura Niculescu.
Dică studied at the National University of Arts in Bucharest (UNARTE), where he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Fine Arts under the mentorship of Professor Marcel Bunea. He has received several awards, including the UNARTE Excellence Diploma for his BA artworks and the 1st Prize at the Painting Biennale Chisinau in 2021.
