Jose Auza

My name is Jose Carlos Auza, i have worked 15 years on the composition, arrangements, recording and music production of my own projects and also participated as a music produccer in movies and documentaries, summing up over 20 records that are free download and some of them where re edited in countrys like Rusia or Argentina. I have also directed and edited 3 documentaries on music sessions of some of this projects. Since 2012 i have been dedicating myself to plastic arts, i have worked in pottery, sculpture, engraving but above all drawing and painting over any format. The work I do is ascribed to the aesthetic stream of neo-expressionism or neo-realism. I have had a couple of joint exhibitions, and recently a personal exhibition at the Simón I. Patiño Foundation exhibition center in Cochabamba. As a composer I won 4 national prizes and as a plastic artist five. Among the most important is the first place in the “Salón Pedro Domingo Murillo National Prize” on the painting category for two consecutive years, and the first place in “Fernando Montes National Drawing Contest” in La Paz city.
