A lot of people would say I have always been an artist. But that isn't really true. It took me quite a while to find my art. It took leaving art behind all together to pursue an education in anthropology to find it. Now I create for myself and for no one else. Somehow that has helped me create art anyone can enjoy.
I feel that art very often is a form of expression and can evoke a message, whether it's purposeful or not. I set out to create an impression or an experience when I paint and viewers share it.
