Lolana is a British contemporary artist. Her work was exhibited in two solo shows at the Houses of Parliament in London as well as in group exhibitions at The Royal Institute of British Architects and in a number of galleries. She produced commissions for organisations and for private collectors.
Lolana explores the theme of solitude and liminality, working with a variety of media including acrylic, oil, collage and intaglio etchings. Her work has been praised for its powerful expressiveness and for conveying a profound emotional story.
"The central tenet of my art is a journey from reality to the edge of myth and dreams, seeking to reveal the sacred harmony of life in nature, human and animal form" - Lolana
