Nancy Freeman Tabas

Nancy Freeman Tabas an award-winning artist specializing in painting and jewelry making. Nancy’s art creates a visual world of light and color in oil, acrylic, and encaustic paint. Her jewelry creations focus on vintage jewelry pieces that are joined with her bead collection and upcycled into a modern design.

Temple University and PAFA

Nancy has shown throughout the Philadelphia area and in various locations in Vermont, New York City, and Miami. Her work can be found in collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Tabas’ art is inspired by the world around her. She loves to travel and is an avid hiker, cyclist, treasure hunter, and volunteer. Nancy has served on a multitude of Boards including The University of Pennsylvania Museum and Temple University School of Liberal, Art Centers, Main Line Art Center and a small middle school in North Philadelphia
