Sarita Kamat

Born and brought up in the beautiful city of Belgaum, in India, I have always enjoyed nature and working with different kinds of arts and crafts. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and PG Diploma in Business Management, I pursued my passion for Art under the guidance of Late Mr. K.B. Kulkarni at School of Art in Belgaum. Here I learned not only the techniques and skills in various art forms but also some of life's most important lessons. I have to thank my parents for instilling the values they did in me and for giving me good education.
In 2002 I moved to USA with my family for work. Here I had the opportunity to explore and pursue my passion for arts and crafts more than I ever thought I could. I began working with watercolors, acrylics, hand-painted glassware and hand-painted jewelry. While looking for jewelry findings I came across unique and fascinating beads.Experimenting with the different shapes, textures, colors of beads and findings and creating bracelets, earrings and necklaces came naturally to me.
