Krzysztof Iwanowicz

I deal with abstract painting. In the creative process, improvisation, the use of controlled chance and spontaneous gesture are of great importance to me. The painting becomes a record of emotions, experiences, impressions and a combination of a planned goal with the discovery of something unattainable in the process of conscious action alone.

Krzysztof Iwanowicz (born 1967, Piła)
He studied at the Faculty of Interior Design and Painting at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław (currently the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts), in the years 1987-1989. The artist mainly deals with abstract painting, which fits into the trend of new abstract expressionism.
