Dima Stavreva

Based in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, the painter Dima Stavreva draws inspiration from the sea and its vastness and turbulence. Having spent over 13 years as an artist, Stavreva is known for creating dramatic abstract landscapes that have helped her achieve success in the form of exhibitions, commissions and prizes.
As an artist and painter my inspiration comes from the beauty of nature's horizons. The sea has always been my greatest muse and my oil paintings often recreate the calm or lush landscapes of something seen, the strong emotion it has left in me. I strive to capture the essence of this natural wonder from the colors of the sea to the movement of the waves, the horizons, the abstraction, the expression of colors and the lines within them. Each brush stroke is carefully crafted to bring to life my sense of the vastness expressed in nature. My art is a reflection of myself, my paintings reveal my soul.'

2008 graduated from the University of Neofit Rilski, Blagoevgrad, specialty in "Fine arts", professor Ignat Ignatov.
