Artur Kyrychenko, a self-taught artist hailing from Ukraine, embarked on his artistic journey in 2019, exploring the world of oil on canvas. However, Artur's love for art has deep roots, dating back to his early childhood. In the 2000s, he drew inspiration from the renowned artist HR Giger, which marked a phase of dark art characterized by the use of black and white drafting ink. Later, Art found inspiration in the masterpieces of Dali, Georgia O'Keeffe, and George Condo. Artur's art is characterized by a distinct style that includes vibrant colours and a multi-layered approach to subjects. The plots of the paintings raise themes of social imperfection in the world. The artist believes in carefully and vividly depicting the artistic idea and story. In this method, every part has a purpose and adds meaning to the picture. Each piece fits into a clear structure, focusing on real meaning rather than just looking pretty. The creative process for each painting commences well before the initial brush touches the canvas. The concept for a new piece can gestate and evolve, gathering fresh details within the realms of imagination over several months.
