This artwork was inspired by a visit to "Las Tablas de Daimiel", a wetland National Park en La Mancha (Spain). The visit was on an evening in June, it was warm, and it was very calm. Born and raised in Germany, I live in Madrid/Spain since 1990. I work as an IT Analyst and started painting watercolors in 2012 as a hobby. It has become more serious since then, and right now my goal is to balance art and IT. My prime subject is Nature: growing in a rural environment with hills and forests, I learned early on from my father to love and respect nature.
