Yadi Pelaez

Yadira Peláez is a Colombian painter. She moved to Houston, Texas, since 2018. Academically formed in engineering. Yadira has developed her artistic skills through the years following the steps of her mother and grandmother, who inculcated in her the love for art and crafts from a very young age. Also, from studying with Colombian artists. Yadira presents a fresh look to impressionism, which she follows with great passion and is currently studying painting in The Glassell School of Art of The Fine Art Museum of Houston, Texas. Yadira loves to paint using the palette knife because with these she can apply a lot of oil and she can also play mixing the oils on the canvas. She is working on a project that will present part of the Latin American Fauna, Folklore and customs.
