Always fascinated by the contrast between environment and human intervention, I try to express that sense of despair that I often feel in front of human disregard for the Earth. Nature eventually reveals its ammonition through storms and hurricanes, as a warning for humans that they are not doing the right thing. Yet the images, taken out of the dramatic context, show that Nature is also spectacular... Environmental problems as features of the modern society are my main focus, among these the Hurricane Sandy, about which I have been working for the last year.
