Nina Mankin

I am a mixed media artist currently working within the realms of miniature installation, collage and print.
Small scale detailed constructions, reminiscent of Victorian peepshows, draw the viewer via a tiny aperture, into fully realised environments.

Working predominantly with found objects to create theatrically charged narratives, my work is often surreal, full of symbolism, playfulness, humour, tension, sexual charge, and a search for beauty and deeper meaning.
