Tanvi Bafna

I am a 23-year-old MBBS graduate living in Pune. For me painting may have started as just a hobby, but now it has transformed into something else entirely. My interest developed in it when I was 7, but at that time I only drew and sketched. My skills have evolved since then mainly in the field of oil and acrylic paintings on canvases. Today I proudly hold a collection of about 50 of my own paintings of varied themes. I am deeply inspired by my surroundings and fascinated by the interplay and array of colours, shapes and forms in the breathtaking scenes of nature. So, I draw upon these elements quite frequently and thus have a large number of landscape themed paintings. I have passed both the elementary and intermediate grade of drawing examination. In August 2017, I also held a solo exhibition of my collection at Bala Gandharv Rangmandir, which was attended by over 500 people and thus became a milestone in my art career.
