Joanna Kozlovskaya, an artist residing and working in London, has been driven by a deep need for self-expression since childhood. Guided by her artist mother, she learnt various techniques such as silk painting, ceramics, and cloisonné enamel. Her artistic journey embraces a vast realm of creativity through mixed media, notably incorporating metal leaf and freshwater pearls, resulting in an abstract and tactile style that highlights the interplay of textures and light. The use of metal leaf in her work symbolizes abundance and prosperity, serving as a visual metaphor for transformation, while freshwater pearls metaphorically signify beauty emerging from humble beginnings, echoing the inherent potential for growth and transformation within every individual.
