Carolina Becker

Carolina Becker is an Argentinian artist born in Canals, Córdoba (1978). She received her BFA from the National University of Córdoba.
At the end of 2005, she moved to Viedma, where she exhibited her work in several group exhibitions.
In 2009, she hold a solo exhibition entitled "Pop Lítica" in the Casa de la Cultura de Carmen de Patagones.
During 2009 and 2010, she was a lecturer in charge of the course "Elements of Art History" at the National University of South. (Carmen de Patagones).
On September 8, 2010, she inaugurated the exhibition "Infancia" in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and in December of the same year she was invited by the Department of Culture of the province of Río Negro to be part of the jury for the regional competition "Pinto Río Negro".
In 2011 she was appointed lecturer responsible for the Art History course in the National University of Río Negro.
In March 2011, she was awarded a prize at the " Third Annual Painting Exhibition of Carmen de Patagones " for her work "La casa de Asterión". In the same month she was chosen to represent the province of Rio Negro in the exhibition "Mujeres Creadoras" in the House of the province of Santa Fe (Autonomous City of B.A.).
