Elisha Briseño Aragon

My work is a tribute to the natural world—its elegance, fragility, and untamed spirit. Through a range of traditional mediums including pastels, acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, and ink, I explore the forms and expressions of animals, each piece aiming to capture their inherent beauty and presence.

At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for nature and a growing concern for the challenges it faces. I am particularly drawn to species at risk, using my art to not only reflect their splendor but also to bring attention to the urgent threats of climate change and extinction. In this way, each portrait becomes more than a representation, it becomes a quiet call to action.

I hope my work serves as both a moment of reflection and a reminder of our responsibility. By connecting viewers to the natural world through visual storytelling, I strive to inspire a sense of wonder, empathy, and stewardship.
