Michael Robohm

Member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists (BBK) and Association of artists from Lower Franconia (VKU), studied mechanical engineering and lives in Franconia, Bavaria. He has been working in the black and white and color laboratory since 1984, creating alienation techniques with self-made devices and dedicating himself to classic black-and-white photography and sulfur toning on barite.

Most of my works are created through superimpositions. Two moments merge into one in the pictures. Space and time, they connect in the picture, only to dissolve again immediately and to be reassembled again and again in the spirit, in the imagination. The original photographic recordings are not erased, they merge into new forms and content. In my pictorial language, I would like to open up a sensually perceived and yet almost tangible world to the viewer.
