Maria Sevastaki

Maria Sevastaki has 15 personal and 50 group shows in her credit. She has been distinguished by many national and international committees as representative of Greece in many symposiums, and art research projects. She has done promotion work for swatch watch Athens and worked on theatrical sets in Athens. Her works are found in public spaces, museums, universities in Greece and abroad. She moves to Samos Island in 1996 where she served as a Lyceum teacher of visual arts 97/99. From 1998 she is representative of the Greek Chambers of Fine Arts at the prefectures of Samos. From "˜02 she directs workshops and cultural events "˜'Visual Games for All'', Flux (contemporary art exhibition), Big Blue (Contemporary Arts Group) on the island of Samos.
