Paisley Marten

For nearly 40 years, I have turned to creativity as a counterbalance to the intensity of my career in forensics and true crime. Under the name "Paisley Marten" - a tribute to my maternal roots in Paisley, Ireland, and my paternal German heritage - I built a sanctuary where serenity meets symbolism, and where light may stand beside shadow. Both family lines were rich with creatives, and they serve as my constant muse. My artistic relatives include Jackson Pollock, Agnes Bernice Martin, and Alfred Barr. Within my immediate family, my late mother was an accomplished wildlife artist whose work was displayed in galleries across the American Southwest. Now retired from my InkProfiler career, I have unified my creative work under my real name, Dr. Mozelle Martin - yet the spirit of Paisley lives on across every platform.
