I'm not sure where to start with counting my blessings.
I was born to a classical musician father and an artist mother who not only placed more emphasis on the arts and extracurricular activities over academics in the way they raised my brother and I; they also travelled extensively for work. And so, I've had the good fortune of having grown up amongst many different kinds of people over three continents.
I started painting and drawing before I could string words together, and took my passion to a more commercial direction by pursuing design. I studied graphic design and fell into the word of marketing, all through this time I continued to paint but mostly with acrylic. It was not until late last year that I decided to start working with oil paints for the first time.
It was love at first stroke!
Since then, I've put my design career on hold and have fully immersed myself in the process of finding my own voice and my own style. And I keep finding myself coming back to the classics, I love the romance of impressionism and the misty timelessness of classical art.
