J'ai été habitué à créer des images et des univers avec l'espace, les visuels et la lumière sur scene et dans l'espace public au service d'une histoire () Et de plus en plus mes images sont devenues plus viscérales que visuelles et elles se sont cristallisées sur la toile.



I have been used to creating images and universes with space, visuals and light on stage and in public space in the service of a story () And more and more my images became more visceral than visual and they crystallized on the canvas.

 Biography Robert Nortik

From 1986 to 1988, he followed a theatrical training. Around 1995, he turned to the humor solo and created "Le Film sauvage" which won the prize "New scenes 1996". He plays in the theater and directs many short films.

Fascinated by the realization of images broadcast in multi-projections, he created Nortik Studio Sarl in 2009 (www.nortikstudio.ch), a "magic lantern" structure which implements all the visual technologies available in the service of thought for live performances.

In 2009, he adapted a scene from Fellini's Dolce Vita for the prestigious Fête des Lumières in Lyon in an original multimedia installation that will be seen by more than 2 million visitors.

He is active in several fields : opera, dance and theater, architectural video mapping but the commun point is creating visuals.

For the opera, he collaborates with Philippe Arlaud, (The return of Ulysse, The coronation of Poppea, the engagement to the convent, Falstaff, the Ring in one Evening) Pierre Strösser, (Ariodante) Blanca Li (Treeminisha), Oleg Kulik (Le Messie), Nicolas Buffe (il Re Pastore), Christopher Renshaw (Carmen, La Cubana) at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, at Bayreuth, at the Fes...
