Iriana Papamihali

"A painting is a poem without words".

On this so beautiful expression of Horace, my art was conceived, raised between sacrifices, challenges, struggles and efforts to pour on the canvas all the colors of life.
Having as my first teacher, my father, Vilson Halimi, and my strongest support my mother, Myzejen Mullaj, my artistic style blossomed, found itself, and painting is now what I cannot live without, and on which I express my soul as an artist, mixed with all the nuances that life has.
Born and raised by two artists, since childhood, I began to see things differently and just as without realizing it, every emotion of mine began to take shape through colors on the white canvas.
My friends tell me that I am an artist with words as well, but painting is what completes me, fills me and through which I want others to read me.

Iriana Papamihali was born in Tirana. From 1984 to 1988, she studied at the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana, and from 1989 to 1993, she completed higher studies for Scenography at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tirana, Albania.
