Raj Persaud

I am a doctor and psychiatrist practicing in central London. All proceeds from any sales of my work here goes to the Suzy Lamplugh Trust - perhaps the main anti-stalking anti-harassment charity here in the UK.


I am a strong believer that creativity and expression through some form of art can be a vital part of the therapeutic process by which people recover from psychiatric and psychological problems, and keep themselves well.

While at medical school at University College London in the 1980's I skipped anatomy dissection from time to time in order to attend life drawing at the Slade School of Art. I did eventually pass anatomy, but it was a bit of a close shave.

I am currently attending drawing classes at The Reform Club in Pall Mall, London.

I am a member of the Society of Wood Engravers.
