Sun Sook Kim

A native of South Korea, Sun Sook Kim is working and residing in Georgia, in the United States. As a painter, she expresses her painful experiences of childhood from an abusive father and the current battle with breast cancer in bright paintings and drawings to talk about “Hope” in life. She uses a variety of materials from the conventional drawing paper and paints to many raw materials such as instant coffee, strings, packing paper, and fabrics.
