The source of my inspiration for my paintings comes from daily life. As I look around, I see that all things have artistic elements. I love to find the irony of harmony inherent in things that appear contrary to one another - colors, characteristic materials, composition of objects, etc. I like to explore the appearance and existence of the places and things I experience and create, and the deeper nature of my own self.
I do not use a specific medium or set of media - rather, I try out different things and for each piece I approach it with the materials that seem to be most appropriate to the subject.
-Everyone dreams of freedom, and although it is impossible to reach a true level of freedom in a life which is so bounded by rules and limitations, art is my way of reaching beyond these boundaries and achieving a level of liberation, which I try to then share with my audience.
