Elise Tanari is a Swiss artist who's still living in Switzerland.
All her paintings are made in acrylic in canvas. Most of them are inspired by texts of the old French and German literature written between the 12th and 15th century. Colors of the back front are trying to give a personal interpretation of the atmosphere of the stories.
Literature and painting are for this artist together very connected. For Elise, it's a complementary, but she choose not give any title anymore and wishes that each of us has the possibility to see what they wish to see. In one word: to appropriate of the artwork.
Now she shares her time between painting (exhibitions included) and teaching French and German.
