Rachel Rodrigues

My work broadly explores cultural identity, social bonds and mental health. Through painting I aim to understand how these interweave, forming a reality through which one experiences and interacts with the world. I build on art historical themes of emotion, but with a new insight informed by our present day understanding of mental health.
