Lena Liebich

My art style can best be described as avant-garde and conceptual and pictorial expressionism, including both figurative and non-figurative expressionism.
Visual art is my passion and my project of existence, and it flows through my blood vessels. Drawing and painting have occupied me throughout my life. I was educated in visual arts, rooted in the traditions of сonstructivism at Leningrad Design Institute, but in my creative work I use an experimental approach that goes beyond classical aesthetics, using original and innovative means of expression and expressive symbolism. Spontaneous imaginations are also an important part of my inspiration, sometimes eclectic and sometimes realistic. The last 15 years Norwegian nature and landscapes have been an additional source of inspiration.
I am studying all types of art constantly, both traditional and contemporary art, thus extending my views and reflections.
