Milton Montenegro

Born in 1954 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Montenegro has been creating images since seven years old, when he won a box camera as a birthday gift.
In the mid-eighties, he pioneered digital photography techniques by taking part on the early stages of computer graphics.
His work belongs to several collections, such as Coleção Pirelli/MASP, Harvard University Fogg Art Museum, MAR - Museu de Arte do Rio and Fondazione Italiana per la Fotografia.
Apart from his personal work, he currently develops the photo-editing mobile app The Cool Cam.
