Birgit de Boer’s paintings are more than visual compositions—they are stories woven through layers of symbolism, texture, and gold. Born in Aruba and shaped by a nomadic life across continents, her work reflects a deep fascination with cultural mythology, architectural beauty, and the delicate balance between tradition and modernity.

Having lived in Venezuela, Indonesia, Pakistan, and the Middle East from an early age, Birgit absorbed the artistic languages of these regions. She refined her talent through self-study before receiving government-funded arts training at 14. Later, she earned a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, which sharpened her eye for composition and spatial harmony. Her artistic journey continued with studies under master painters, both Western and Oriental, and she earned her chop in Singapore—a testament to her dedication to Asian-influenced techniques.
