Elizabeth Jorn

Elizabeth was born in Penang, Malaysia too many years ago.
Jorn was born in Copenhagen, Denmark even more years ago.

The Irish artist Elizabeth and the Danish artist Jorn having been working together for over sixteen years. Their artistic collaboration is based on shared inspirations and similar aesthetic ideals.
Although they have travelled to many countries for the past 12 years they have made the seaside town of Hua Hin in Thailand their base. The original models for their sculptures are made in either wax, plaster or clay and then cast in bronze .Inspiration for their figurative sculptures comes from old myths and the wonderous world around.

Elizabeth studied Fine Art at Maidstone College of Art in Kent,England.
Jorn absorbed it from the world around him.
