Paweł Patrzyk is a sculptor born in 1985 in Poland. Art has always been an important part of his life, and he expressed his emotions through music and poetry. However, it was only after turning 30 that he discovered that sculpture is not only a means of expression for him but also a source of satisfaction and fulfillment. As a self-taught artist, he doesn't follow learned patterns and creates his works without a template or design, finding balance from seemingly chaotic entanglement of a single wire thread.
His interest in biology and physics is equally important to him as art and serves as one of the biggest inspirations for his creativity. His sculptures usually combine two materials: wire and wood, allowing him to showcase the contrast and symbiosis between nature and civilization. The artist's works take viewers on a fascinating journey into the world of balance, form, and matter, while also encouraging reflection on the relationship between humans and the surrounding world.
