Bernadette Snyers

• Born and raised in Belgium
• Currently working and living in Luxembourg
• 1974 – 1984 Art Director with various international publicity agencies in Belgium and Luxembourg
• 1984 - 2007 Freelance Graphic Artist for various prestigious clients in the private and public sector as well as for clients at the European Institutions.
• Since October 2008 Only Artist painter (but painting already throughout the career as graphic artist).

• Diploma in graphic arts and publicity at the Institute Marie-Thérese at Liège (1971)
• Diploma oft the faculty of archeology oft the Catholic University of Louvain (1974)
• Evening studies at the Art Academy of Etterbeek in ”drawing and painting of act models” with Pofessor Jacques Muller
• Evening courses in ”drawing and painting of act models” at the Academy of Limpertsberg (Luxembourg)
• Practical studies during summer at the Academy of Limpertsberg (Luxembourg) for painting and engraving
• 4 months practical art studies in Italy with an emphasis on painting
• Every second year seminars at the European Academy of Art in Trier Germany with the aim to develop further my career as an artist painter
• During several years every month one weekend at the Institute INARTE near Trier practising abstract painting with Professor Guy Toso
