Deborah Brisker Burk

I am a mixed media painter, and native Washingtonian, who enjoys travel and lives and works in Potomac, Md. near Washington D.C. and Rehoboth, De.
I create art to express the beauty in the landscape and in people. My paintings are intended to bring joy and uplift the viewer. My thoughts and emotions are the impetus to the paintings. My process is intuitive as far as color and responsive in terms of shape.
My artwork has been shown and collected nationally and internationally in the U.S., Caribbean, India, Egypt, Israel, Russia, and Canada. The artwork has been reviewed by The Washington Post, The City Paper, Cape Gazette, among other publications.
