native american,mexican decent, but I consider my self as indigenous, navajo is my tribe but also known as" "dene" meaning"
" the people' Im a social worker of 22 yrs working with mental health services.I first became interested in art when i was younger age 11 or 12 but never thougt of it as much of anything accept when engaging I would loose track of time.and i was always amazed of what did sometimes it seemed like blur. i do remember comming back from the perimids in mexico a power place,i started painting had some old canvas and a box of oils and acrylics duplicated a sand painting of hopi kachina sun dancers and have not stopped since.when i dont paint for a while it feels like a part of me is missing.when i come to the canvas I loose track of time.It seems as if im not there . like my hand is being guided from a force of the universe that connects me to all things past present and future.. a state of flow. Im interested in sculpture and many forms of art. but I dont have the space. Icall my art non-objective due to its ceberal qualities that invokes and connects to the universe and all its beauty,it dosent have be precise or accurate it just is,but enough to pull you in ...
