Isabel Harrington (b. Buenos Aires) is a contemporary painter and ceramic artist.
She received her Professor Degree in Painting and Drawing from Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón (BsAs). She has studied drawing and painting with Clelia Speroni, Estela Pereda and Marcela Baubeau de Secondigne; drawing with Carlos Fels and watercolor with Guillermo Roux. Chinese Brush Painting with Shuhua Jin in London.
Since 2006 she has lived and worked in London .
Her recent work "From my garden" is a series of close botanical studies grown from her own garden , a land in need of life and with just a few plants , water and sun life came back to the soil .
I’m interested in the significance of understanding our connection to nature.
Loose acrylic grounds and gestural marks are overlaid with charcoal ,oil stick drawn .
In 2019, she started her journey in the world of clay, which she always wanted to explore with the use of colour, thanks to her background as a painter.
