I am a self-taught, Berlin-based painter who has been developing a distinct visual language since 2012, working full-time as a freelance artist since 2015. My practice focuses primarily on figurative oil painting, combining precise representation with elements of abstraction, aided by Liquin to build delicate textures and layers. Central to my work are portraits of people—particularly women and children—serving as a quiet tribute to my own upbringing in a dysfunctional family and an ongoing attempt to process what resonates with me as an adult. Rather than aiming for radical political statements, I view my paintings as intimate, mini-stories about my perception of the world and human connection. My works are meant to be open and evocative; I deliberately keep my descriptions minimal to allow viewers the space to project their own meanings, memories, and personal truths onto the canvas.
