Rita Broughton

Rita Broughton is a life-long, professional artist who lives and works in Long Island, New York. She is experienced in many areas of art as well as using various art mediums. She finds inspiration for her paintings in her travels, from her garden, and Long Island's Gold Coast landscape. Rita Broughton’s nature inspired creations are known for their impressionistic style and poetic depiction of representational imagery. They are in many private collections and she also creates murals, trompe l’oeil and faux finishes for interior decoration. Her work has been displayed and published in various home design venues and publications.
