Ralf Bednar

I was born in Timisoara/ Romania in 1969 and grew up in southern Germany. My grandpa was the painter Franz Ferch.The preoccupation with art has always been an essential part of my life and life is probably also a kind of art. I am interested in the diverse manifestations and expressive possibilities of visual language. Music, literature, film/ acting or philosophy all have an influence on my work. And of course, how could it be otherwise, all the questions, feelings and thoughts that come across you on your way. A technical foundation can`t hurt, don`t try to be too moral or pathetic. Humor seems to be definitely necessary. Hopefully there will be a work at the end that is sustainable in one way or the other.
