Gerrie Severens

My work starts with realistic reproduction, working in series reality leaves and emotion takes over. These images are stronger and more subtle in the same time. The original image stays but the brain takes over the role of the eyes and the brain starts filling in the abstracts. "Tokking" was shown in the "Gemeentemuseum" of The Hague, during "Zomerexpo". In the same Year two landscapes were shown in "het Venrays" museum. Working with oilpaint I can create my own world.
